Access2info is committed to making this site as accessible as possible to everyone who visits, maintains and updates this website. We have consulted disabled people at every stage. It has been designed to meet Web Content Accessibility guidelines level AA and those checkpoints of level AAA appropriate to the site content.
The site has been tested with the following browsers and will work with screen readers and zoom technology.
It has been designed so that it will work with your preferences. You can change your browser (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox) settings or the display settings in your operating system (such as Windows) to suit your access needs. Follow the link to the BBC’s My Web My Way for guidance on how to do this.
There are two additional access features provided. Text size: at the top right of the screen you can click on three tabs to resize the text. Click on the left A to make it smaller and click on the right A to make it larger. Repeated clicks will continue to increase or decrease the text size. The middle A will return the text to its default size.
Text and background colours: at the top left of the screen are five tabs showing different colour and contrast options. These options cover just the most common preferences for text colour, contrast and sizing. If you have tried these and the My Web My Way help and need more assistance please call or email. HAFAD has teamed up with Abilitynet to provide assistive technology assessments at our ICT training centre in Fulham. Book an assessment and we will help you figure out what works best for you.
Accessibility matters to us at access2info so if you find the website design or content inaccessible please let us know. We might not be able to make changes straight away but we will investigate the options and try to come up with a solution.
